WO serial console

Out-of-band serial density for the federation you already run: up to 48 RJ45 ports and 8 USB-A host ports in 1U, so the switch console and the server BMC live one login apart, inside the same audit trail. Part of the rack line, listed on the enterprise store.

What it does

• Any cable in the drawer. Every RJ45 speaks Cisco-standard rollover and senses DTE or DCE on its own.
• Serial and USB in one box. Up to 48 RJ45 ports plus 8 USB-A host ports for USB-native console devices.
• Adapters that identify themselves. Each adapter carries an identification EEPROM; plug it in and the port configures itself.
• Answers from across the aisle. A per-port RGB matrix shows present, session, fault, and locate.
• Knows what's plugged in. Presence detection is read from the RS-232 TX idle voltage.
• Same system as the KVMs. Joins the WK federation: one IP, one login, one audit trail.
