2U 3-bay Mac mini tray

Three bays in 2U with A/B power feeds, per-bay fusing and current telemetry, and the same capture pods as the WK line. A servo actuator and a USB-PD controller give every bay remote power and DFU control.

Capabilities

What it does.

Power like a datacenter

Two C14 feeds through an automatic transfer switch, with a relay, fusing, and current telemetry on every bay.

The power button, solved

A servo-driven actuator works the physical button with timed tap, force-off, and DFU hold sequences, with a spring-return failsafe.

DFU without hands

A per-bay USB-PD controller on the DFU port adds programmatic reboot, DFU entry, and a serial console. Preliminary.

Watched like the racks

HDMI and USB capture per bay, using the same capture pods as the WK chassis ports, inside the same console.

Customer traffic stays passive

Three passive Ethernet passthroughs carry tenant traffic straight through; it never touches the tray's electronics.

Grows in the field

Start with the bare enclosure and add the managed electronics later; the upgrade kit is field-installable.

Overview

Mac minis, run like servers.

Three bays in 2U with A/B power feeds through an automatic transfer switch, per-bay fusing and current telemetry, and the same capture pods as the WK line watching every screen.

The hard part of Mac hosting is the power button. A servo-driven actuator works it with timed tap, force-off, and DFU hold sequences, and a per-bay USB-PD controller on the DFU port adds programmatic reboot, DFU entry, and a serial console. Customer traffic rides passive passthroughs and never touches the tray's electronics.

The software

One management plane.

Every WarpKVM product runs the same management software. A browser is the only client: every KVM port, serial line, and Mac bay on the federation appears in one pane, behind one IP and one login, with RBAC, session recording, and a full audit trail. No client installs, no per-seat licensing.

Questions

Before you buy.

The enterprise line is quoted, not carted. Write to enterprise@warpkvm.com with the SKUs and port counts you need and we come back with a quote and current lead times. Pricing in the catalog and on these pages is preliminary until release.

No. The tray is the enclosure, power, and control plane; you supply the Mac minis.

Yes. WM-2U00E is the enclosure alone, with front USB passthrough and power buttons, and WM-2U03-UK upgrades it to fully managed in the field.

A per-bay USB-PD controller on the DFU port gives programmatic reboot, DFU entry, and a serial console, while the servo actuator drives the physical power button through its tap, force-off, and DFU hold sequences. The controller and an automated restore host are preliminary and part of the design-partner program.

Actively. Much of the line is being finalized now, and partners get direct input on configurations and firmware. Write to enterprise@warpkvm.com and tell us what you run.

Exactly what it says. We list every product with its current status rather than pretending it ships tomorrow: this line is in development, and specifications marked with a dagger are preliminary and can still change. Write to us for the current state and timeline of any unit.
